A favored Christmas song has a line saying that Christmas is "the most wonderful time of the year". Although presenting and receiving Christmas gifts is something extremely awaited as well as remembered at Christmas time, there are additional activities that make Christmas at least the same memorable and fantastic.

One such an activity is for example decorating the Christmas tree. In most cases, the Christmas tree is located at a central location in the house and it is the most obvious Christmas decoration. One more food related activity which creates memories as well, is making fruit baskets or goody baskets. Those are filled with candies, baked items or other goodies for beloveds, special friends or neighbors. These baskets make a special Christmas gift as well. As they are homemade it makes them oftentimes much more valued than any bought Christmas present.

As Christmas is the season of good cheer and goodwill, it is important to get in contact with family, beloved ones as well as friends. Very often we don't find the time during the year, to be in regular contact with them, especially if they are living far away.
